If the total matters most, pick this: the week is from £1,612, before flights and local taxes. Saturday's 07:25 flight from Manchester lands at 10:20, so the children can swim by lunch. The catch: RIU names no club ages here, so ask whether a 6-year-old and a 10-year-old are both taken.
Tenerife: Riu Buenavista, for no tax at the hotel
Pick this for one bill: the rate says "Taxes included", so the week from £1,905 has only flights to add. The beachfront hotel has pools "for children and babies". The catch: its programme gives no age bands for either child, and Saturday's Ryanair flight lands at 23:15.
Algarve: Club Med Da Balaia, for the shortest flight with clubs

What does all inclusive include, and what costs extra for under-4s?
All inclusive (a resort package, in US terms) covers room, meals and drinks, but under-4s pay for Club Med's baby clubs, from £361 (as of October 2026, source: Club Med). RIU's all inclusive covers "entertainment, sports activities and resort facilities at no extra cost". RIU's guide says premium-brand drinks are "Usually charged separately", except in Elite Club at selected RIU Palace hotels.
- Club Med's under-4s stay free, but their clubs cost extra: Baby Club Med from £396, Petit Club Med from £361, none at Gregolimano.
- Sal: pre-register and pay the airport fee, €30.83 each from age 2, online at least 5 days ahead, or pay double at the border.
- Djerba: the FCDO says Tunisian hotels charge 12 dinars a person a night at four and five stars, on arrival.
If your youngest is 3, add Petit Club Med, from £361. If you want no hotel tax to pay, book a "Taxes included" rate.
